In the event that Southway is closed due to adverse weather we will place a message in on the home page.
We will also advise the local radio and the local council website: http://www.leeds.gov.uk/reside
A text will be sent to all parent/ carers via the MAT member of staff to notify them as soon as the decision is made and any taxis will be cancelled.
The Principal will send an email to all schools who have referred students to Southway to notify them of the decision.
In the event of a school closure in the middle of the day, we will contact all parent/ carers and notify them of the decision. Transport will be rearranged where applicable. Southway staff will liaise with the mainstream school and will ensure that all students are supported until they are safely home
