Positive relationships are at the heart of Southway’s approach. The ‘can-do’ attitude of the staff gets most pupils back into the classroom and learning.

Pupils learn that the staff are there for them. This helps most to improve their behaviour. They become increasingly respectful of others.

The staff are adept at gaining pupils’ trust. Their patience and unstinting encouragement fosters pupils’ loyalty.

Since registering as an Independent School Southway has made significant progress under the Independent Schools Standards. We are very proud of out most recent Ofsted report as we feel it reflects the team approach at Southway and the progress we have made.
